Quality & inspection planning.
A drawing-led approach to requirements, sample approval and inspection planning, confirmed for each manufacturing project.
Quality starts before the order.
Our approach is to agree the requirements before production: the approved drawing, revision, material, critical dimensions, finishing and the evidence needed for acceptance.
Partavon coordinates projects with manufacturing sources. Supplier capability, available inspection equipment and required documentation are reviewed against the requirements of your component.
Define the checks that matter.
- Identify critical-to-function dimensions and surfaces
- Agree the datum structure and applicable drawing standards
- Define the sample or first-article approval requirement
- Confirm inspection scope, sampling and reporting
- Record material, finish and packaging requirements
Documentation by agreement.
Dimensional reports, material documents, process records and shipment documentation can be included where available and agreed. Ask for what your receiving team needs at the quotation stage.
If certification is required, include the standard and scope in the RFQ so the relevant manufacturing-source documents can be reviewed before quotation approval.
Changes and nonconformities.
A proposed change to material, process or critical geometry should be reviewed before it is implemented. Keep the approved revision attached to the order so there is a common reference.
If an issue is identified, document the part number, revision, affected quantity, photographs and measurement results. The handling of replacement, rework or other remedies is defined in the agreed order terms.
Before approving a quotation.
Check that the quotation and agreed documents describe the same part, quantity, revision, finish, inspection requirements and delivery basis. Clarify any exclusion before proceeding.
For a new component, the sample plan and acceptance criteria should be understood by both sides before the sample is made.
Before the quotation.
Is Partavon ISO certified?
We do not claim a Partavon certification on this website. If your project requires a certified manufacturing source, state the standard and scope so the relevant documentation can be reviewed.
Can I request an inspection report?
Include the required report format, features, sampling and supporting documents in your RFQ. The manufacturing source and agreed scope determine what can be provided.
Can I approve samples before production?
Where applicable, define the sample stage and approval criteria in the order. The quotation should distinguish sampling from subsequent production.
